Children’s Book Giveaway in Celebration of Children’s Book Week

Did you know that this week marks the 100th Anniversary of Children’s Book Week?

This week dedicated to literary celebration was created in 1919 by the librarian for the Boy Scouts of America who had the belief that children’s books and literacy are ‘life changers’. This is still true today. And what began by a single person decades ago, is now celebrated by librarians, booksellers and publishers across the country during two dedicated weeks (one in the spring, one in the fall).

To celebrate Children’s Book Week and to share some great books by Indie Authors, I’m hosting a Book Giveaway on Instagram. Since we are in November, these books all center around the theme of being kind and thankful. Check them out and if you’d like to enter, head over to my Instagram page at @bens_adventures_book for details.
